Developed by Metal Processors Ltd., in Ireland, Metdeck warm roof decking board combines the superior thermal performance of Kingspan's Kooltherm Insulation board with a WBP exterior grade plywood to provide a continuous supporting substrate for the application of metal waterproofing, ensuring faster fixing times. Metdeck is manufactured without the use of CFCs/HCFCs and has zero Ozone Depletion Potential (ODP). A vapour barrier and designated fixings are required for the system. The product is currently recommended for use under VM Zinc and Luvata Copper products but can also be used under other long strip metal products subject to specification approval from the relevant manufacturer.
